Hello there!My name is A.L. Davidson, known as MaybeMockingbird online. I write stories about ghosts, grief, isolation, eco-horror, space exploration, queerness, life with disabilities, and the human condition. I love writing genre-blending stories, tales of heartwarming and horrifying romance, and the coziest sci-fi and urban fantasies you’ll find this side of the galaxy!
I am best known for my cozy PNR web novel series The Night Farm, my short story series R-PNZL: A Futuristic Fairytale, and my horror romance titles such as Lover, Thy Name is Pestilence, When The Rain Begins To Burn, and The Scientist, The Spaceman, and The Stars Between Them. I have four ongoing web novels, several published novels and novellas, and tons of short stories/flash fiction pieces that are available in various online publications and anthologies, which you can find in My Library. I have a Shop that features all of my self published books and short stories, as well as an informative About Me page with links and contact options! I am a Pushcart Prize, two time Indie Ink, eight time Queer Indie, and BBNYA nominee for 2023, and a Small Spec Awards and thirteen time Indie Ink award nominee for 2024!
