The Night Farm
|
Rhys Anderson is looking for a fresh start after a health diagnosis forces him to sell his beloved tea shop. When a small farmstead goes up for sale in the mountains, he jumps at the opportunity to live a quieter life away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and find a new place to plant roots.
After packing up his few belongings, Rhys settles in for the lengthy cross-country drive to his new home. The farm rests on the outskirts of a mysterious town called Wylder Wood, hidden deep in the forests out west and not found on any map. The idyllic little farmstead is perfect for his needs, and his new neighbors are quick to introduce themselves as soon as nightfall arrives. The locals are welcoming and friendly, but not at all what they initially seem, and Rhys soon realizes that the otherworldly residents want to sink their fangs into something more than his crops... The town of Wylder Wood comes to life when the sun goes down, and long nights on the farm are filled with friendship, romance, and good eats aplenty! |
Haunts and Heats

Wren Swallows believes wholeheartedly in three truths: their dad’s credit card has no limits, ghosts are definitely real, and Alphas are the worst.
When the opportunity to indulge in their passion for the paranormal arises, the plucky Omega sets off on a clear day to visit a lighthouse in search of specters. Located on a tiny island, the historical landmark known as Pointe Highview promises a perfect night of ghost hunting for the haunted historian's debut ghost hunt. Everything is going according to plan until Wren discovers the lighthouse keeper - a man named Joel Cutter - is not only devilishly handsome, but a grumpy dominant Alpha who can’t stand the sight (or smell) of them. Tensions and pheromones spark between them, but Joel remains professional despite his seemingly instant disdain for Wren’s literal existence. The night of ghost hunting takes a turn for the worse when the perfect autumn weather grows stormy and strands Wren at Pointe Highview, forcing the clashing personalities to hunker down inside of the lighthouse until the sea calms and the skies clear... |

strauss and santiago
Johann "Jo" Strauss and Marcus "Marc" Santiago made their debut in a flash fiction piece titled How Far We'll Go, written in Feb. 2022. Captain Santiago and Ensign Strauss were set adrift in the not-so-far-off future with an alien anomaly behind them and the universe before them. They snuck their way into a short story titled The Rochester Family Farm, written for a Vocal challenge in June of 2022, where they became ghost hunting college students. Following their paranormal misadventure, Strauss and Santiago started to insert themselves into multiple stories, leaving the horror-courting couple flung across several galaxies and timelines in the process.
With these two established characters in my arsenal, I was able to open myself up to a world of time-hopping, genre-swapping possibilities around a core theme that's part multi-verse, part Cloud Atlas, and "part true love never dies" trope. Strauss and Santiago became immensely important characters in my writing - so much so that they became side characters in my web novel The Wayward Souls of Avalon and will be starring in their own novel slated to release in spring of 2026 titled Let's Watch The End of The World Through The Train Car Windows! You can follow my couple with a penchant for the paranormal across many adventures that tests the limits of their love and sanity using the images below. As these stories get published I'll link them below (in chronological order by time period!).

Meet miss eloise!
The Magically Marvelous Misadventures of Miss Eloise is a series of short stories that follow the titular Miss Eloise, her charming friends, and a mess of magical moments in a sleepy college ton called Broochport! Debuting in the inaugural issue of Divinations Magazine and appearing in every issue since, Miss Eloise's Acid and Apothecary (the first story in the series) introduced the world to Miss Eloise, the town of Broochport (where the esteemed School of Magic and Divination is housed), and her quaint little coffee and potion shop - The Acid and Apothecary. Alongside Wolfgang Pyle, a grumpy university Professor who may or may not be a literal devil in disguise, and Zeb, AKA Broochport's number one ghost hunter, the team of magical sleuths set off on adventures about their supernatural hometown, helping those in need and uncovering mystical mysteries! Miss Eloise and her friends live in the same universe as The Night Farm and Nights In New Eden! These stories can now also be read on Patreon!

Space opera wip
Due to the sheer size of this project, I'm not going to speak heavily about the story or characters of this series. What I can tell you is this is going to be as epic as a space opera can get. Currently slated to be a core trilogy with two prequels and a secondary sequel trilogy, this massive scale space opera is geared toward readers who grew up in the golden age of anime and video games (AKA the late 90s-mid 2000s) who love lore heavy stories, character development, and classic sci-fi.
It is a narrative that is heavily relationship-based, focusing on the conversations and developments of the crew as they grow and live life together in the midst of an eco-centered war for humankind across the galaxy. This story is a mixture of deep space exploration, horror, eco-minded plot points, and relational depth with a diverse cast of varying ethnicities, gender identities, sexualities, and beliefs.
